Getting Started and What to Expect
Our role is to provide our clients - non-profit organizations - with a turn-key Over the Edge experience. We educate the host non-profit about the expectations and responsibilities of everyone involved. Our clients receive comprehensive support materials so they completely understand their investment.
The Over the Edge partnership is a 3-phase process designed to ensure that potential non-profit partners are well-suited, informed and prepared to run a successful fundraising event. While each case is different, you can expect to take between 6 to 15 months to complete the process.

Check Available Markets
The next step is to check availability in your area. Over the Edge offers exclusive licenses to host an event based on geographical areas. Of course, you are always welcome to give us a call if you have any questions toll free 1-866-434-8776.
Apply
Once you have decided to take the exciting plunge and host an Over the Edge event in your region, the next step is the application process. It will take about three to six weeks to finalize the application, at which time you'll receive a license to host an Over the Edge event.

Application Screening & Approval
Over the Edge will confirm and review your application (1 to 2 days). Application approval will be emailed indicating your status within your area. This will be followed by a call to indicate your next steps.
Letter of Intent (LOI)
Get a signature for the Letter of Intent (LOI).
PHASE 1
90-Day Business Plan
Once you have signed a Letter of Intent and secured your license with a $2,500 deposit, we immediately start the 90 Day Business Plan; the goals of which are to host three strategic planning sessions which includes a building webinar, sign a contract and secure a building.
One of the three webinars will be held with you and your team, and the President of Over the Edge. This will help set the foundation and manage expectations regarding the process and necessary steps to ensure success with your event. You will receive more information on each of these stages in your online Members' Area which details each phase more extensively. Please note that all estimated timelines could vary due to the hosting region, non-profit resources, time of year, etc.
Contract Signing
Over the next 30 days, you will have an opportunity to seek input by your legal and risk counsel regarding wording in the contact. Any suggestions or changes, simply send a red line word version of the contract to office@overtheedgeusa.com.
Building Webinar & Process
This is the process of finding and securing a building for your rappel. Over the Edge guides you through every step of the process, including the all important steps of identifying and securing a host facility. Our Best Practices process will ensure your success.
PHASE 2
Internal Strategic Development
Prior to your event, you and your team will have a chance to build upon the key material presented throughout the strategic planning sessions. This internal process will see the development and creation of sponsorship packages, marketing material, websites, the formation of the Event Committee, as well as the identification of a nucleus of rappelers.
PHASE 3
120 Day Countdown to Event Day
Meetings with non-profit reps and OTE's Event Manager are held at 120, 90, 60, 30, 14 and 7 days prior to the Event date. Our online event planning calendar in our Members' Area will keep you and your team on track with the key deliverables necessary to ensure success with your event.
EVENT DAY!!
The long awaited Event Day is finally here! The detailed planning and attention will allow for the Over the Edge team and your team to come together as one to deliver your Over the Edge event.
