On June 8th and 9th the National Kidney Foundation of Maryland will hold their 3rd annual Over the Edge event in Baltimore.

Cerebral Palsy is a disability that requires a great deal of coping and daily sacrifice. However this type of sacrifice is often accompanied with determination, strength and perseverance. Francesca Herrera's experience going Over the Edge in Austin TX is a perfect example of this.

Chandler police Chief Sherry Kiyler and six of her officers literally went "over the edge" Wednesday, , rappelling down a 17-story building for charity.
The event, a fundraiser for Special Olympics Arizona in Phoenix, raised $50,000, said Marlene Calabrese, the charity's special events manager.
